Getting Started with the Navionyx Dealer Program
Who can become a Navionyx dealer?
Anyone. Existing GPS tracker installers, auto electricians, mobile shop owners, transport business operators, and first time entrepreneurs are all welcome. You do not need prior GPS or telematics experience. You need a working mobile with WhatsApp, a bank account or UPI, and willingness to install devices or engage an installation technician per fitment.
Is there a joining fee?
No. Navionyx does not charge a joining fee, a franchise fee, or a refundable deposit. The only commitment is your first stock order of 5 AIS 140 devices or 10 consumer GPS trackers minimum.
How long does the application process take?
Filling the form takes 2 minutes. You get a WhatsApp confirmation within 30 seconds of submitting. Our dealer team calls you within 4 working hours. Working hours are 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Do I need a shop or physical office?
No. Many Navionyx dealers work from home for their first 6 months. A physical location helps for walk in customers, but it is not required. See our how it works page for the full onboarding process.
Pricing and Dealer Profit
How much profit do I make per device?
On AIS 140 devices, dealer profit is Rs. 700 to Rs. 1,300 per device depending on state. On consumer GPS trackers, dealer profit is Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,500 per device. Every renewal from year 2 onward adds recurring income. Use the profit calculator to see numbers for your state and stock size.
What is the dealer buy price for AIS 140 devices?
Dealer buy price varies by state, from Rs. 3,882 in Kerala 1 year variant to Rs. 10,500 in West Bengal. Delhi dealers pay Rs. 4,838 to Rs. 4,956.
What is the dealer buy price for consumer GPS trackers?
A flat Rs. 1,300 including GST across all states of India. This price includes the device, Android app, iOS app, web tracking platform, and 1 year of tracking subscription. Nothing extra to pay for software.
Why does AIS 140 pricing vary by state?
Each state has different AIS 140 approval fees, certification renewal cycles, and tracking period requirements. Kerala offers 1 year and 2 year variants. Rajasthan is 1 year only. Tamil Nadu and West Bengal have higher pricing bands. Delhi has its own separate pricing.
Can I set my own selling price?
Yes. Navionyx suggests a resale price band for each state and product, but the final price is your decision. You know your local market. Some dealers price at the top of the band and offer premium installation. Others price at the bottom for volume.
First Stock Order and Payment
What is the minimum first stock?
5 devices for AIS 140. 10 devices for consumer GPS. If you want to stock both tracks, minimum is 5 AIS plus 10 consumer. After the first order you can reorder in any quantity.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI for fastest same day confirmation, bank transfer or NEFT for 1 working day confirmation, and RTGS for large orders. All prices are GST inclusive. You receive a proper GST invoice with every order.
How long does shipping take?
Devices ship within 2 to 3 working days of confirmed payment. Metro cities receive delivery in 2 to 4 days. Tier 2 cities in 3 to 5 days. Remote areas in 5 to 7 days. Tracking number is shared via WhatsApp when the package leaves our warehouse.
Can I reorder in smaller quantities after the first stock?
Yes. After your first order there is no minimum. You can reorder 1 device, 5 devices, or 100 devices depending on your needs. Most active dealers reorder every 2 to 4 weeks.
Do I get a bulk discount for large orders?
For orders above 100 devices in a single shipment, we offer additional dealer discounts. Talk to the dealer team on WhatsApp for volume specific pricing.
RTO Paperwork and AIS 140 Compliance
Do you provide RTO paperwork for AIS 140 fitment?
Yes. For every AIS 140 fitment, Navionyx generates the backend server slip and the ARAI type approval certificate reference from your dealer login. You download the PDF, print it, and hand it to the customer with the installed device.
Are Navionyx AIS 140 devices ARAI approved?
Yes. All Navionyx AIS 140 devices carry current ARAI type approval that covers Amendment 2. The certificate reference is provided per device batch.
Which states have made AIS 140 mandatory?
18 states have active AIS 140 mandates: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Kerala, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal. National permit commercial vehicles registered in any state also need AIS 140.
Can I sell AIS 140 devices in states where it is not mandated?
Yes. National permit vehicles registered in any state need AIS 140. If a fleet owner in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, or Bihar has national permit vehicles, they need AIS 140 devices. You can sell to them.
Do the devices support both AIS 140 and JT 1078 protocols?
Yes. Devices are compliant with AIS 140 protocol at the state level and support the AIS 140 backend server slip format. The AIS 140 dedicated variant is separate from the JT 1078 variant for camera and video applications, but the base tracking device covers all state RTO requirements.
Installation Training and Ongoing Support
Do I need prior installation experience?
No. Navionyx provides a video training series shared to your WhatsApp during onboarding. Videos cover installation, activation, troubleshooting, and customer handover. Most new dealers become productive within 2 days.
How long does an AIS 140 installation take?
45 to 60 minutes for AIS 140 because of the panic button wiring and RTO paperwork handover. Consumer GPS installation is 20 to 30 minutes.
What if I need help during an installation?
For your first 30 days, you have priority WhatsApp access to the Navionyx dealer support desk. Response time is 15 minutes during working hours. After 30 days you continue to have WhatsApp support with typical response times of 30 to 60 minutes.
What if a customer needs help after installation?
Customers can reach the Navionyx support desk directly through the WhatsApp number printed on the device sticker, or your own number if you white label. Navionyx handles technical support for end customers. You do not have to be a first line support engineer.
Is training available in regional languages?
Yes. Training videos and the dealer kit PDF are available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. WhatsApp support runs in all 5 languages during working hours.
Annual Renewal and Recurring Revenue
How does the annual renewal work?
Every device includes 1 year, or 2 years for some AIS 140 variants, of tracking in the dealer buy price. From year 2 onward, or year 3 for 2 year variants, an annual platform renewal is charged to the customer. Navionyx dealers share in the renewal revenue.
What is the typical renewal amount?
Market rate is Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,500 per vehicle per year for AIS 140 renewals covering eSIM data, platform, and certificate renewal. Consumer GPS renewals are typically Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000 per year. Dealer share of the renewal is finalised as part of your onboarding.
Do I have to manually renew each customer?
No. Navionyx handles the renewal communication and payment collection from the customer. Renewal revenue share is credited to your dealer account. You focus on new device sales while recurring income runs in the background.
Warranty, Defects, and Returns
What is the warranty on Navionyx devices?
Consumer GPS devices carry 1 year manufacturer warranty from the date of activation. AIS 140 devices carry 1 to 2 years depending on the package. Warranty covers manufacturing defects. Damage from installation errors or water ingress is not covered.
What if a device is defective on arrival?
WhatsApp the dealer support desk with the device serial number and a short video of the issue. A replacement device ships within 24 hours at no cost. The faulty device is picked up on the same reverse leg.
Can I return unsold stock?
Devices you have activated cannot be returned. Unused, unactivated stock in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund minus a 10 percent restocking fee.
